Message from the principal
The the school is situated at a very remote area, Ga-Moraba in Jane Furse next to old Jane Furse Hospital ,and we are proud of producing good results year after year. Every teacher is committed for seven hours as prescribed in the Employment of Educators Act, no one is pushing another to make the spade work. Everyone knows exactly what is expected from him because there are systems in in place like, school policy, curriculum policy, learners ‘code of conduct and etc.
Our policies simply our work .Even though we have some differences, we work towards achieving a common goal ,preparing our learners step by step towards proper, responsible adulthood. I believe in competition i.e competing with other schools as that motivates both teachers are learners to work harder, academically in extra-mural activities and co-curricular activities.
Our motto witnesses all the above, “we are running a race” and yes we don’t just just run this race for pleasure but to merge as winners. I am managing a staff of 34 members, with 2 Deputy Principals and 4 HOD’s.
My secret of success is that everyone knows his/ her job prescription. My main task is to see that the two Deputies are filled with information and I just monitor if they implement our policies. The two Deputies have regular workshops with their HOD’s do the same educators in their Department.
SGB: Our SGB is always supporting teachers because they make resources available. Parents also energising us because they attend parent meetings in big numbers to share ideas in building the school. Our school is loved by many people from different communities because we are the best in almost all schools around Sekhukhune District. A healthy mind in different activities like, athletics, soccer, activities, Library activities and many more.
To provide education and responsible citizens who will contribute to the social and economy development of the country and globally.
Provision of technological, relevant and quality education. Involvement of all relevant stakeholders.
- Sports and athletics & National high jump: Bonolo Mogoru
- Art and culture: Music - up to national
- Baswa le meetse - competed up to national: Lesego Sekgala
Despite our successes, we also face everyday challenges as a school. Shortage of administrators, access road to the school, lack of classrooms due to increasing number of learners registered at the school and water shortage form part of our everyday challenges.
